OUR MISSION

OUR MISSION

Provide Affordable renewables for Developing Countries

JANUARY 2022 -

OUR PROGRAMS

  Our promise: Sustainable Development

With our goal being to provide accessible renewables for developing communities, the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals have always been central to our process.

With our selected UNSDGs, we  strive to:

1.Sukabumi Pilot

GOAL: Prove technical feasibility of our solution

We met Mr. Sumarna, the president of Berkah Mina, a Farmers’ Union in West Java, Indonesia.

Without electricity, millions of farmers cannot use aerators to maximize fish production.

We met and discussed the potential of small-scale hydropower.

We proposed a microgrid deployment in Mr. Sumarna’s farm to power fish farm aerators and electrify houses.

We partnered with Berkah Mina to increase their fish production.

We began construction and established a strong local supply network in West Java through MoUs with local unions and training for fabrication workshops.

We can source and manufacture all parts within 1-hour of deployment sites.

We launched our first microgrid on June 27, 2022.

2.Lighthouse Initiative

GOAL: Prove Scalability, Deploy 3 Microgrids

Established a Partnership with Aman Digital to develop a carbon credit system for small-scale clean energy projects and jumpstart microgrid deployments.

Funds will be used for the first three deployments.

Collaborate with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) to get potential deployment data.

This extends to conducting feasibility surveys.

Collaborate with IBEKA (or the People Centered Business and Economic Institute) to consult on hydroelectric power plant deployments and technical design.

Conduct joint technical surveys with ESDM and IBEKA on irrigation systems and small rivers throughout West Java.

Joined MIT Sandbox venture fund to gain additional funding and guidance for future microgrid deployments and the development of a Remote energy monitoring system.

Competed and Won Climate Innovation League to grow a network of startups dealing with clean electrification.

This effort was lead by our University of Indonesia chapter.

Began construction of a second microgrid in Dago, Bandung on December 20, 2022.

Collaborated with CIka-CIka Community and local government to electrify the community center.

Continued surveying potential deployment sites as we plan to deploy 10 microgrids by the end of 2023.

Make your impact.

We are dedicated to providing clean electricity to rural areas of Indonesia by deploying low-cost hydroelectric microgrids. A donation will help fund microgrid deployments in communities without electricity throughout West Java, Indonesia.
