Tri mumpuni

Tri Mumpuni, also known as Bu Puni (Mrs. Puni) is an independent researcher, social entrepreneur, philanthropist, social activist, and micro-hydropower inventor who was involved in the project for the development of hydropower electricity for more than half a million people of Indonesia. For her work, she was awarded the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2011. On 13 October 2021, she was appointed a Member of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Steering Committee by Joko Widodo. Her success in providing electricity to villages has motivated us to do the same for lighting up one in Sukabumi using hydroelectricity. Our goal is in parallel with her which is to help our community reach a sustainable green economy.

Lisa Luhur Schad

As the President Director of Media Indonesia and chief CSR Officer of Metro TV, Mrs. Schad has shown that she is actively involved with the media and digital advertising world. In the recent years of her career, she has shown interest in supporting young entrepreneurs of Indonesia. Additionally, she is one of the Co-founders (along with Andy Noya) of BenihBaik Indonesia, which helps people’s campaigns through acts of sustainable journalism, ensuring positive outcomes.

As an advisor for Yayasan Sondaicus Indonesia (Sondaicus Foundation) since 2019, Mrs. Schad has been helping mentor and guide the team to preserve the Javan Rhinos. By connecting Sondaicus to several organizations such as Jakarta Marathon, Kick Andy, and YCAB she has helped to open many opportunities that have allowed Sondaicus to expand. Furthermore, she overlooked both the #BantulahBanten and Benihbaik fundraising campaigns, whilst also helping to establish the 3 pillars of Sondaicus: Community Outreach, Public Outreach, and Direct Conservation to help give the organization a more generalized focus and sense of direction.

Benny Batara

Benny Batara is an active philanthropist and investor. He had a position in OYO Indonesia as the Deputy Region Head of Bali and Nusa Tenggara in which the company made a commitment to the economic empowerment of villages. By partnering with Bumdes (Badan Usaha Milik Desa) Bersama Gianyar Aman, a coalition of villages based in the Gianyar Regency that holistically develops local resources, OYO uses its current technology to advertise the villages’ products that are already rich on its own but struggle to find market capitalization. With the villagers being the primary workforce in their own community, it creates a healthy and sustainable economic environment. His recent ambition is to create a carbon credit marketplace in Indonesia following the pledge Indonesia took at COP26 to phase out coal-powered electricity.
