Mercusuar (Lighthouse) Initiative

    1. To maximize access to electricity, the 4.5 kW produced by each GWVPP will be shared amongst 5 households, each receiving 900 W.

    2. Establishing an MOU with local village leaders (kades) will allow them to recruit “microgrid groups” of 5 households (KK) consisting of 1 “host” where the GWVPP will be constructed.

    3. Optimally, the land will be privately owned to reduce permitting issues.

    4. This process circumvents challenges of direct household recruitment and provides local govt. support, limiting bureaucratic red tape.

  • (May. - Jun.) Complete the Real Demand survey to find three cooperating villages in Langkaplancar without access to electricity and optimal irrigation canals.

    (Jun. - Jul.) Establish MOUs with 3 village leaders, each recruiting a cluster of 5 households (KK), to produce power for a total of 15 households.

    (Jul - Aug.) Conduct site mapping for basin construction by local civil engineer

    (Aug. - Oct.) Groundbreaking and basin construction

    (Oct. - Nov.) Assembly of GWVPP turbines and generator housings

    (Nov.- Dec.) PowerStack manufacturing and shipping

    (Dec. - Jan.) Electrical system installations and testing
